Request beta access

Ixilotl isn't publicly available on the Play Store yet. During the closed test phase we unlock testers one by one – all we need from you is one piece of information.

The beta currently runs exclusively through the Google Play Store. There is no version for iPhone or iPad yet – it will follow later.

How it works

  1. Fill in the form: Enter the email address of the Google account that is signed in to the Play Store on your Android device.
  2. Send the email: When you click “Create request”, your email app opens with a pre-filled message to us. You just need to send it.
  3. Activation: We add your address to the tester list and get back to you with the link to the test version – usually within a few days.
  4. Install: Open the link on the Android device, tap “Become a tester”, then install Ixilotl from the Play Store as usual.

Where do I find my Play Store email address?

It has to be exactly the address the Play Store is signed in with on the device you want to install Ixilotl on – the test version only becomes visible for that account. It is usually a …@gmail.com address.

Here's how to find it
  1. Open the Google Play Store app on the Android device.
  2. Tap the round profile picture (or initial) in the top right corner.
  3. The email address of the active account is shown right below the name. The small arrow next to it shows whether other accounts are signed in.

Alternatively: Settings → Google (or Accounts) – the signed-in Google account is shown at the top.

Send your request

The Google account the Play Store is signed in with on your Android device.
Only fill this in if we should send the link to the test version to a different address than your Play Store address – e.g. because you don't check that inbox regularly. If left empty, we send the link to the Play Store address.
If anything goes wrong during activation, we can give you a quick call. Without a number we'll get in touch by email.

Your details only end up in the email you send yourself – this website doesn't store anything. We use your details (addresses and phone number, if provided) solely to add you as a tester in the Play Store and to contact you about the beta – we don't pass them on to third parties.
